Extraordinary service by "If the shoe fits" June 5, 2009

I don't have still an experience with the shoes but I would like to praise the seller - "If the shoe fits".
I'm living abroad and purchased the shoes a month ago in size 7 D.
I got it from a friend visited US, without the box and unfortunately it was too small.
in spite of not having the original box, the seller agreed to provide me with a replacement pair size 7.5 D, for which I'm much grateful.

I was looking forward to owning my first pair of 99X's series shoes after all the favorable reviews. Just disappointed in them after putting about 40 miles on them so far. Not as well cushioned as the 1062's especially on the forefoot, the heel seems fine but the forefoot feels thin and firm to me when compared to my 1062's and Saucony rides (both of which were cheaper).
Supposedly the 992's werent as well received as the 991's and the replacement 993's are supposed to correct whats wrong......so we'll see.

For a few years of my life chronic foot pain altered my lifestyle. Heel cups/gels and Orthotics offered no long term relief. Immediately after putting these shoes on my feet I felt better. One year later feet feel great with no morning or daily pain.

The shoe is comfortable except that it causes me to get blisters at the tips of my toes. I have very sensitive skin though, so I'm assuming I'll be fine once my feet get a bit tougher.

While I cannot run any longer, these running shoes are great for walking around town and enjoying some lite hiking as long as it's an easy trail. Great cushioning, very comfortable. This is my second pair.
